 James Mogul has been seriously using a camera to hammer out the visions in his head since the mid-nineties when he picked up a point and shoot camera to record his experiences in the fetish and alternative subculture of the Pacific Northwest.
Self-taught, self-motivated and driven by caffeine, late nights and his penchant for compulsive creative jags, James soon gained a grip on the medium and started to create compelling images that cross from bondage erotica to fashion to fetish. Always growing, his work leaves the viewer with a nagging desire to take another look. Yes, he's been published, yes he does this professionally, yes he's had prints in galleries, yes he really does like to tie up beautiful women but what really matters at the end of the day is the sincerity of the work and the impression left with the viewer.
